The Canada-China Institute for Business and Development (CCIBD) is advancing business knowledge and practice through valuable research that will have a positive impact on the way business is done within and between these two countries.
By fostering partnerships with Chinese academics from dozens of universities, the CCIBD reflects the Ted Rogers School of Management’s enduring commitment to a spirit of collaboration and to relevance and innovation in today’s global business environment.
The CCIBD also expands TRSM’s global reach by serving as a hub for connecting Canadian businesses, academics, policy makers, governments, and other stakeholders to support transnational entrepreneurship. Its members are eager to share their expertise in subjects as diverse as international law, entering the Chinese market and retail markets investment decision-making.
In August 2015, the Ryerson University-based CCIBD will cement its place in the realm of global commerce by co-hosting the annual conference of the Academy of Innovation and Entrepreneurship with two other distinguished universities – Tsinghua from China and Oxford from Great Britain.
